Bio

Lana is currently an undergraduate student at UC Davis as a Cognitive Science, B.S. major. She has been an undergraduate research assistant in the Mangun lab for nearly two years helping to conduct EEG and eye-tracking research. She is currently working on her honors thesis project titled Microsaccade Dynamics and the Effects of Covert Attention at the Parafovea. Lana is interested in using different methods, like EEG and eye-tracking, to explore how the attentional and oculomotor systems interact under situations of information overload in healthy individuals and neurological disorders. After graduation, Lana plans to work as a post-bac research assistant before applying to PhD programs in cognitive psychology. In her free time, Lana enjoys playing games, cooking, baking, and listening to music.
